Gemini (via the CLI, for technical users)
For Gemini you use the Gemini CLI, a command-line tool for developers. You add the connector to a settings file. This is not an option for the average user, but if you already work with the CLI it takes a minute.

Do I need a paid account?
No. A free qrcode.me account is enough to start. Dynamic QR codes use one credit each on a credit model; static QR codes are always free. What you make through your AI follows the same terms as what you make on the site yourself.
Does this work with the free version of ChatGPT?
No. Custom connectors in ChatGPT only work on ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu. On a free or Plus account you cannot add your own connector yet. In that case, use Claude, which also works on a free account.
Do my QR codes keep working if I disconnect?
Yes. Your QR codes live in your account and keep working whether you are connected or not. Disconnecting only stops your AI assistant's access. The codes and their statistics stay yours.
Can I edit existing QR codes through my AI too?
